Swinton Lodge
is an impressive purpose built residence with 63 single on-suite bedrooms.
It stands in pleasant and secluded grounds, near to the centre of the South Yorkshire town of Swinton, being very conveniently situated for Mexborough and the large centres of Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield, and Barnsley.
It is centrally located for all local amenities, and has excellent train and bus services near at hand. The two storey building is homely and well maintained offering secure and spacious accommodation.
Some features of Swinton Lodge:
Apart from the single en-suite rooms, further large bedrooms are available to accommodate couples if required. Corridors are wide for ease of mobility and wheelchair access, and there is a lift in the building. For added ease, there are numerous aids for the benefit of residents and a call bell system is linked to all rooms.
All our main lounges have televisions and there are television points in each bedroom.
Care 'tailor made' to suit individual requirements
Each resident benefits from our care assessment process which determines individual care needs on an ongoing basis.
Qualified nursing staff and trained carers are on duty 24 hours per day. Prescribed medication is retained, monitored and dispensed by our qualified nursing staff.
Activities:
A wide range of functions, social activities and external trips are arranged throughout the year.
We invite family and friends to participate in these activities as much as possible. We also encourage residents to continue with their hobbies and interests.
